hai ya, nw at home. sick but feeling lots btr liaos. i'm sure tmr i can go sch liaos =DD whee!!!

aft watching la corda d'oro, i realised alot more about music. to love an instrument, to love music, n to love to play music, is not a very simple thing aft all.


ever since young, i've been loving music. whether it is classical, rock or wateva. i still find it an amazing thing. music is something tat soothes the soul, yet brings out an inner beauty within oneself.


the beauty of music, i realli can say...it will not be able to be expressed in words. every composer, from beethoven to chopin, has their own style in their music, and would want to bring out certain emotions within their music. tats the main aim of music. n if those feelings are being brought out, tats wat i call "Perfect Music".
in perfect music, alot of things mus b present. ranging from an exact note (which is not out of tune), a perfect beat (so tat the music flows), and to put in those emotions into the piece being played. jus like one of the themes in La Corda D'oro, "Opening Up". the performer should be able to realise the "opening up" emotion within the song, and play with the emotion or purpose of opening up something. tat way, everyone (audience), would feel the same too.


also, i feel tat to perform, is not about competition or to compare with other better ones. i feel tat isnt the purpose of music. during performance, one should be able to let the audience enjoy the music, along with enjoying the music oneself. tat is called "performing".
whenever we practice so hard jus to get the perfect music, we always dont realise it, but we r starting to love the music, along with the instrument. my instrument is like a partner to me. without it, i can truthfully say, i will start to lose the meaning of life.


i feel music is such an amazing thing. realli! it brings out so much. n tat is y i love music. i wanna perform for others, not onli becos i love the music, but bcos i wan others to love the music too. =DD

isnt it amazing? for a plain piece of paper wif ink on it, to hav so much effect on everyone? those notes on the piece of paper, can create such an amazing piece of music.
