Hello people :) I'm back here again, to blog on my life, and would sincerely apologise for being in the 'missing-in-action' stage for the pass few days. Okay, on second thought, its just two days! I believe you all arent that impatient to know about my life, although all of you are DYING TO KNOW! XD

Thats right, yesterday was the usual Chinese Orchestra practice, and I went (even though i was still in the preparation stage for my grading exam)! Received a new song, Jasmine Flower (Orchestral Version) by Ronald yesterday, and was quite satisfied by its standard :X A little challenging, and I still don't deny that my sight-reading is quite bad. The constant chord changes killed me totally, along with the quaver triplets that had random semi-quavers in them! Damn, I still have much more to learn.

But everyone else was also doing quite fine! :) There was a certain passage, that Plucked Strings would play a phrase of triplets, and the Erhus would catch the next phrase after us! Shuzhen did great, thats what I'd say! The Woodwinds were doing wonderful too, and Wei Jie came, of course up to standard (since he took his Grade 8 exam this year).

Speaking of which, today was Joel's grading exam :) I bet he did well, he's always up to standard too! :) Such envy, to have learnt the same instrument since the mere age of 7. When I've to start mine at 17, I've alot more to catch up! God bless me, for I've jumped 6 Grades in 8 months, I'm amazed myself. But then I question myself, have I really got a good foundation on Ruan? My right hand can't do perfect tremolos, my left hand can't move quick enough when it comes to quick passages, and my mind ain't perfect enough to switch moods in between songs! I've got alot to work on, but for the moment, a pass for my exam will do! :)

I've only picked up the instrument for barely 1 year. Not feeling inferior or what, but in comparison to Joel, Cassandra, Shuzhen and the others, I've lagged alot! :( They picked up their instrument for at least 3-4 years and more, having a great foundation in their instrument. Me? I've hopped many instruments in search for my 'love of my life' and found it only last year November. How sad :X to have been in the music field for 10+ years, and only found my dream instrument last year! Anyways, cutting the negative talk, I will work hard! Catching up with the seniors like Clara, Sophy, Jonathan, Kenny and Yu Heng (A few ruan players who used to/are in SYCO). Hope to play alongside all of you soon! And lastly of course, Ms Foong, hoping to play alongside her someday too! :)

Shuzhen, thanks alot for the support! I will work hard, and remember the song as though its my name! After all, in every test in the past (like maybe Primary/Secondary School), I'd write my name at the top of the paper first! No matter what, I would'nt forget it! The familiarity of the name, is beyond 100%! :) Thanks, I'll work hard, and to 'pay you back' for not going to Chinese Orchestra today, with a Merit (okay, or maybe Distinction!).

Cassandra and Joel, thanks also! :) Will work hard for my exam and make you all proud! Then I will also have the time-off to arrange songs, and we can play together! :) I'd bet Shuzhen will love those Jay Chou songs! The 1st one, Ting Ma Ma De Hua? XD I'd bet Cassandra's waiting for the Reminsces Of Yunnan 2nd and 3rd Movement (In which I have the piano scores ready already). And Joel, maybe San Liu? :X

My dear, thanks alot for the support too! :3 I think without you, I won't have 'survived' so much in my pressure for the exam! Hope that you will get that New Moon prize too :) I want the tickets :X Hehe! My bad, naughty me! :X I love you!

Family, really great support! :) Always there, whether is it a performance, a small recital, or even when I'm practicing my piece in my room. Love you too :)

Okay, cut the thanks here and there! Now it sounds as though I've gotten the Red Star Big Awards (Direct translated from Chinese). Oh, not to forget, Wei Jie brought a few songs to RPCO yesterday. Was surprised to see my *trashed idea from secondary school* song, from my Secondary School days. Four Hands, by Jay Chou's Secret. Its when Xiao Yu and Xiang Lun plays the duet together, that small piece of around 1minute plus. I trashed the idea because it seems too hard. Glad to see it again :) Along with a medley he created, from a few artistes like Wayne Lin and more. Looking forward to trying it out on Tuesday next week!

*Yawns* Time for me to go to bed! A long stretch of words today, I would say! And I'm procrastinating my 'vow to sleep early' idea. My bad once more! Okay, nights people! :) Hope all of you are having a nice time. Secondary and Primary School students, Happy Holidays! RP students, 2 more weeks :) Good night and take care! Signing off!

P.S.: I'd yearn for the day, we'd make our next kiss, have our next hug. <3
