Hey people!!! :)

Today was a fun day actually. Although had a very unhappy incident that happened :( During Sound Design class today, we were supposed to edit an audio mix, more of like we were given several tracks and supposed to merge and sync them, add necessary effects and from there, we get our final output. We split the job as each of us worked on a certain track, find out the necessary effects and they'll tell the 'compiler' the parameters. I was the compiler by the way :) Turned out, our mix was messy and confusing. I tried my best to sync them together, but I was too keen on placing all the tracks together at the same time, that made everything sound messy. Was criticized by my facilitator that it was "horrible" :( But well, we learn from mistakes right :D I hope I will do better next time!

Tried out a little of Reminisces of Yunnan 3rd Movement with Cassandra. Was a Piano-Ruan duet version. Was quite okay on my side since I've practiced the piece for quite a while, but poor Cassandra, as she have to sight-read today. She did quite well thoughs :) Was amazed by her good sight-reading skills! Played a few classical pieces with her, like Fur Elise and some weird song called Sad Sonata. Played a little of LiberTango too :) Oh yes, miraculously I managed to play Di Yi Er Hu Kuang Xiang Qu almost everything on the 1st try :X Hope my sight-reading continues to improve :) Ab major on Ruan is total coolness! :)

Tomorrow is another day of RPCO! :) Though Ronald not coming tomorrow, I still hope to practice a little. Sadly, Cassandra is not coming tomorrow. Joel is having a fever, hope he gets well soon. Take cares :) And ShuZhen is going off early to celebrate friend's birthday. That leaves with the few Dizi people, YikHung, Jeff, WenShan, MeiLing (Oh yes, Justina ain't coming too, she has to go for some jab!), the usual 3 ErHu girls, and I don't know who else. So going to practice some scores tomorrow, or at least learn some new songs (as I'm still learning to sight-read from stave notation on Ruan). :D
