Hey yo people! :) I'm trying my utmost best to blog as frequently as possible, since everyone is so KEEN ON KNOWING what's happening in my daily life. :D

So, that's right! I bet you all must be wondering how I've done for my grading exams. :X I find it, no big deal actually, just a short (less than 10minutes) display of my exam pieces to a local lady who barely looks at me when I play :) Not a single bit scared, nervous, afraid or any other negative feelings. Halfway through the exam, the sunlight brightened and I felt like it was so relaxing.

Oh yes, saw several SYCO ruan players there, first time seeing them in person. Okay, I don't deny, I sound like some over-obsessed fanboy now! Saw Minhui at the reception :) And Jonathan also. Someone asked what grade I was taking and how long I've learnt the instrument. She was shocked ==" and even more shocked when she found out that my teacher was Ms Foong. She was going "Woah!!!!!!!", or something like that. I'm just trying my best to work my way up to the powerful skills of being a professional Ruan player. :)

Okay, back to the exam! I did'nt really messed up much, but was'nt able to perform the whole piece (okay, not first time), and the examiner asked me to stop halfway or 3/4 way through. Now I feel that all that hard work to work on the ending portion of Xiao Mu Ming, was useless. :X Since its my first Ruan exam (Not to forget, only picking the instrument for 1 year, and having to jump 6 grades), I will be glad if I'd get a merit. In fact, more than happy :) I don't deny that I had alot of last minute preparations. The previous week when I was playing my exam pieces to ShuZhen, I flunked?! Then I panicked a little, before finally memorising the piece to play it smoothly. My bad, I'm such a slacker! :X I will definitely work harder next year. I can't expect myself to remember the whole of Reminsce of Yunnan (Any movement) within a week. That would be crazy :P

So thats right, exam is over. A whole fresh start on a better repertoire. First up on my life, Cao Yuan Yu Bei. :) Along with some others like Man Jiang Hong, Reminsces of Yunnan (All Movements), and hopefully, some Liu Xing solos like Wu Suo Shi Shi or Sui Xin Suo Yu. :) I've learnt Man Jiang Hong, just need to touch it up to make it sound better. 1st Movement of Yunnan too, I can't do the slapping of the strings well enough. Learnt a little of Wu Suo Shi Shi, here I come to learn the rest! :) Intending to get the NAFA grading book, Grade 7 - 9 and learn some of the tough pieces in there. :D

That's about it! :) I think I will have to work harder next year, if I'm aiming for that distinction! I just hope I don't die halfway while learning, because the songs are tough. :) God bless 2010, god bless Randyboi! :X Oh, and those who have been trying to encourage me, thanks alot! :) Special thanks to Cassandra, Justina, Wenshan, Shuzhen and my dear. :D I think the others have also been supporting me emotionally too, like Joel, YikHung and some others :) Thanks a bunch!

P.S.: I knew that if I suggested the 11.40am movie, you'd be late! XD Love you alot my dear! Ninja Assasin, here we come <3
