Welcome back people to my humble blog :X Okay, I admit, sometimes I ain't that humble! XD My bad :X

Got a few performances opportunities coming up I suppose :) Having the quite large-scale Bukit Batok CC Chinese Orchestra performance on 20th December. :D Songs are the usual few, with a few additions like Xi Yue and some other tan bo yue xiao he zou. :) Several helpers coming to perform, like Joel, Shuzhen, Cassandra, Ying Ying, some SAJC people, some PJC people. The manpower seems a little more decent now. At least on the tan bo yue side, 3 zhongruan, 3 liuqin and 4 pipa. Probably 3 cello and 1 double bass, 3 to 4 dizi, 2 shengs, and idk how many huqin. :X So far confirmed is 3 to 4, definitely require a higher number of them. :D Just hope everything goes smooth and well. I do admit, I'm getting a little bored of the songs :X Maybe Xi Yue still quite okay :D

Along with that, there's some collaboration with some IG in school too. I suppose the International Student Club or something similar. Details to be confirmed though. :D It's around mid-January 2010. Small collaboration of probably only 4 to 5 members from RPCO. :)

I've been wondering, how long has it been since I actually properly practiced ruan. After the exam, I kinda slacked and never really practiced. :X Just 1 hour plus ago, I practiced on the ruan properly. Learning some new Grade 7 songs, since I'm really quite bored of Huo Ba Jie Zhi Ye and Feng Huang Hua Kai. :X I'm still trying to master You Tai Shan too :) Tough piece, alot of techniques in there. I've to work on my hua yins and fan yins man :X My lun also cmi after 1 week of not playing ruan. :X

So that's right :) Oh yes, went over to a small shop run by Joel's friend (I suppose) at Bugis. :) Opposite Mos Burger, and was quite a decent place with good accommodation. At least, better than Karl Heng, Doritale and Chinatown's. Eason still have good accommodation though :) Though the shop was specialising in Erhu, there were some Dizis around. Was disappointed to not see tan bo yue stuffs (as expected though :X). ShuZhen was busy Erhu shopping, and chose one that sounds nice and looks nice too. :) She reserved it and will be getting it next Sunday. Congratulations!

So Cassandra, Shuzhen and I went off, while Joel remained to practice there. :) After which we went home since it was time. :X Dog tired I'd say. TGIF man. :)
