Oh dear god, I've been absent from blogger for a week already. Please accept my humble apologies! *bow* I'm back after a busy week.

Busy with what, you asked? Having a weirdly strange atmosphere in school, the Open House 2010 of Republic Polytechnic is here, but the turn-up rate was (at least to me) not up to standard. Nonetheless, we were still asked to perform. Since RPCO was so busy with the new songs conductor have given, the quartet decided to give it a try for the open house instead. Repertoire was quite interesting, having Love Story by Richard Clayderman and a rehash from SLA 2009, Da Mu Da Mu. :X

Busy we have been, arranging songs for the performance, I've slept at a late hour of 1plus last night, in fact it should be rephrased to today's morning! :X Not all songs were chosen, but I believe in future the other pieces will be useful in future. :) Why? Won't tell you. :)

Today was the day of performance, not really nervous or anything, just treating it like any other normal performance. That's my tired face early in the morning on the way to school. :X


Had a great time performing, received encouraging applauses and much praise from TRCC. Finally, we've made our name to TRCC. Amongst their discussions, phrases such as "they have improved alot" and "they are good!" can be heard, as mentioned by ShuZhen :) So comforting to hear such comments though. I'm glad I'm in the quartet, really glad. :) Have great friends to chat, care and play (instruments) with. I think I've found great people in my life and am grateful of it.

Had a short snack at TheReelRoom before heading to Causeway Point for lunch. Yoshinoya we went, hoping for a cheap meal, but too bad. Having to spend a huge bunch of cash, but I'm still happy. :) Had some fun with the chopsticks there though :X Innocent us :X


Hope the future times we perform will be better and better. But of course, happy as ever. Love you guys, SRJC forever. :)
