Would like to sincerely apologise for my absence on blogger. Due to my tight schedule, I've grown to become pragmatic and learning to use my time to a more worthwhile extent. Of course, it would be obnoxious of me to say that using the computer is worthless, but after much soul-searching, I've realised that I really need to pull up my socks on my ZhongRuan skills. It's time I've chased the express train and reach my destination as swiftly as possible! :)

Holidays are arriving to an end, how depressive at the mere thought of it. Just imagine the boredom of school, the insufferable lessons of sickening material that would be totally of no use for my Chinese Orchestra future. :X yet, the warmth of friends is definitely delightful and refreshing, as though I've felt much exhilaration in my lungs after breathing in the morning fresh crisp air. Being surrounded by people who care, by kind and concerned beings that would glimpse at you every once in a while to ensure that you are doing fine. That is what I call, Luxury. :)

Chinese Orchestra is the usual busy-as-ever activity in my life, only which this time, I've stepped down and its time the new committee took over. After all, 2009 was really a tiresome year for me, having to plan so much, and the entire revamp of RPCO, with new instructors, new system, new repertoire, new instruments, much time was required to adapt to the new situation, just so that the future committee would have an easier, much peaceful life in CO. :) Having to practice new (okay, not very new, since these songs are around for ages!) tunes was a huge relief for me. Most of them were'nt really much of an aesthetic battle but an emotional one. Noting down the proper mindset for a certain phrase or passage in the piece was extremely important, and we were often reminded by the conductor in this aspect. Like I said, there's still much to be learnt. :)

Nonetheless, everything in life seems to be going smooth and fine for the moment, and I hope it remains this way throughout the year. Oh yes, as a formality, I think a new year resolution is important. (They are not in any specific order of priority FYI.)

1) To arrange several entertaining pieces for Chinese Orchestras.
2) Get a new ZhongRuan that will stay with me for my entire life.
3) Properly play my Diploma exam pieces, I just suck at them man. :X
4) Build up my scores library at home. Time to steal scores!
5) Think of a new fashion sense for myself. I better not be so 'last year!'.
6) Bond up well with my close friends and learn more about them.
7) Lesser quarrels and disagreements, I still prefer a carefree life.
8) To love you more everyday so that we can last forever.
9) Take more photos since its my last year before NS. My god, there goes my hair!
10) Enjoy good food, here's my current list (all to be completed by end of 2010)...
