Okay, here to blog once again :) Wait *puts on thinking cap*, its time I preached some stuffs I've learnt in life, since I have no idea what to blog other than that! XD

Patience and Temper -

I think it's very important to be a patient guy in life. :) Anything also must wait and man man lai, especially when we desire a very hearty outcome, like good musicianship, abundance of knowledge or a windfall of wealth. There are many times i was impatient and gave up waiting, and oh no, I missed out alot. :( There went my dizi, percussion and yangqin skills :X HAHA! sad to make those mistakes, but i'm glad i've learnt from them. :) As of then, I've vowed to be a much more patient person when I desire for something.

In another context, I've also learnt to be patient with others :D There are times in secondary school that I flare up at juniors who just can't get the phrase right, and I'll just walk out or something? I think it is totally ineffective, and the aftermath is horrendous. Thus I've tried an alternative method, which seemed to be much more useful, although to only be used in moderation, is to be patient and teach nicely. I make great friends, and I think I do not have any right to actually scold anyone. This leads to the next point...

Respect -

So much for giving attitude to teachers in the past! I've realised that in society, there is such thing as social status. :) and it is very important to draw a clear line between high status, and low status.

As a student, I don't believe we are to disrespect our teachers, unless our teachers are being unreasonable. Even so, I think we are to reason out with our teachers instead of attituding them? :) It is a clear solution to the problem, along with a good avoidance of such occurrences in future. Being nice with words is also very important can.
As a guide to my peers in CO, I don't really think I have any right to scold anyone, since I'm just a non-paid guide. I used to think that 'oh, i'm the almight randal, i'm so pro and i have the right to scold any noobs!' LOL! trashed that thought, since it was totally pointless. I'd stay on the 'do you need help? i hope there's some solution to this phrase, i bet there is. Now...lets see...' :) and there we go, a good solution leading to a good outcome. This leads to...

Critical Thinking -

Okay, I don't deny that I used to have alot of ridiculous solutions to problems in the past, that were not only ineffective, but it caused more problems instead. :X Thus, when we come across a problem, i believe we are to analyse the situation properly before we come up with a solution.
At times, we use our heart to think what's good and bad. Things like someone causing me to be angry, is often overwhelmed by these negative emotions, leading to a negative state of mind. Solution is not being found, and we may say stuffs that do not help but worsen.
Use head, not heart at many times I'd say. :) When we come across a problem like the one above, I intend to search for a reason to solve the possible misunderstanding. And if there is no solution, I will just sacrifice that person, if that person is of no importance to my life. That's how practical it is. :) Think what's worth the trouble, and what's not.

Kindness -

People say, kindness begets kindness. Although not true all the time, but it's true to at least...humans. I doubt its true to beasts without heart. :) I think it's good to be nice to others, whether in words, in actions or in facial expressions. :D Sometimes, it doesn't hurt to be nice to others okay. :) Just a praise, a pat on the back, or a smile, helps and brings a person far.
Or just being sharing and generous once in a while is okay too. :D whether to share knowledge or items, it's unimportant. Main thing is that everyone is happy, and we enjoy the experience together, whether CO, a meal or an outing. :)

Acceptance -

When I got scolded or criticised in the past, I always rebutted no matter what the reason, and just argued to the extent of just wanting to win. Coming to think of it, it is totally ridiculous and I even find it silly. HAHA! :X I'd rather go by "Swallow it, and work towards a solution" :D instead of putting a black face infront of my teacher, or to give him/her a nasty attitude, I'd request for a suitable solution to the problem, and I'd assure it will not happen again in future. :) although it is tough to accept some nasty criticisms, but it beats being emo over it right :D hehe.

Responsibility VS Laziness -

I don't deny that there are many things which I'm supposed to do, ranging from arranging scores to practicing my ruan, but due to this stupid nature of laziness in me, I always procrastinate and tell myself "I'll do it next morning, I'd bet i will!" and when the next morning I wake up, I'd do something else LOL. I hate it this way, this is the only value in me that I actually detest largely. I wish I was more hardworking? :X I better buck up at work hard. After all my teacher did say "dont think your little talent can bring you far! it can only bring you a small distance, the rest is up to you and your hardwork!". :X and i better work hard!

Okay, so much for today's preaching session. Do i see people dozing off on their screen already? HAHA! yes i do! :) aww, I'm sorry! :( I promise I'd do a more interesting post tomorrow or so okay :D hehe! take cares people!

P.S.: People...do change.
